HR Summit 4.0

DES Mumbai Campus in Association with NIPM Mumbai Chapter has organized HR SUMMIT 4.0(Harnessing the Human Capital ) on 3rd October 2021 from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The theme for the SUMMIT was “HR SUMMIT 4.0 ”.

As in the Fourth Industrial Revolution 4.0 (4IR) is considered to be an upcoming thunderstorm, accepting pattern of change that is visible in the upcoming future business and society and arriving at a situation which requires very little time to prepare. While some percent of people have already accepted the challenges and starting utilizing an equipped tools to brave the changes around and take the advantage of its effects, while in other hand rest percent of people are not aware that a storm is brewing.

This event was organized to understand the Fourth Generation Industrial Revolution and its upcoming impacts in various domains, connecting to the changes occurred with the core understand of providing and utilizing security with gaining the importance of the changes. The intend was to bring industry personality of different domain, corporate leaders, academicians on a single platform of knowledge creation & sharing. 30 HR personnel from diversified sectors marked their presence for the event. 

HR SUMMIT 4.0 was focused on Two Panel Discussion:

1. New Paradigms in Diversity and Inclusion.

2. Virtual Work Force and Cyber Security. The Program was initiated by “Saraswati Vandana” followed by welcome speech from Dr. Rasika Mallya and felicitation to the Guests of Honour, delegates and Key note Speaker.

Guest of Honour and Patron Deccan Education Society, Shri.Mahindrabhai Kothari, Shri.Parag Sharadchandra Kothari and Smt Madhavi Khanwala Mam,CA Krishna Sunil Mehta ,Honorary Vice Chairman,NIPM ,Mumbai Chapter,Shri.Devdutta Kalyankar, Esteemed Key Note Speaker,Chairman & Chief Trustee of Mahindra Finance CSR Foundation, Director of NMITD Dr.Khamkar Sir, Dr.Minal mam and Dr.Saple Mam. The Keynote speaker, Shri. Vinay Deshpande mentioned that even though there is disruption due to technology, due to pandemic and due to so many other factors. Human is fairly adaptable to the changes and is agile. His mantra in his key note address was its going to be OK. Industrial Revolution which is here to stay.

What is new is what is how we are going to reimagining. Disruption which is a mother of new innovation. Disruption is happening because of Corona. Coping is the key. Is phygital a word? Phygital is a term used to describe the divide between the physical and digital world. There is nothing new. What is so great about Phygital is a new buzz word. The Greatness lies in the acceleration of accelerated movement of learning. Success of HR will depend upon how you envision. They will be extrapolation of the past. It would be drawn from the past.  He urged the HR leaders to use Innovation space for the future of HR – Idea Hexagon – Raskar’s philosophy on ‘Learn, Think and Apply’ encourages him to form REDX.io platform. REDX’s goal is to promote peer to peer learning, peer to peer problem solving in more systematic ways! The event involved Panel Discussions, which took place as follows :-

The panel discussion was Anchored by Dr. Aruna Deshpande, Hon. It has three institutes under its ambit – Kirti M Doongursee College of Arts, Science and Commerce which is a under graduate college affiliated to University of Mumbai. Navinchandra Mehta Institute of Technology and Development which is a Post Graduate Institute offering MCA (Master of Computer Application) and MMS (Master of Management Studies) of University of Mumbai. Jayshree Sharadchandra Kothari Business School which is an autonomous institute affiliated to AICTE offering PGDM (Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management with focus on Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence). DES Campus in association in NIPM Mumbai Chapter has hosted the event.
